HOW BIG IS Flau’jae Johnson ON THE NET?
Flau’jae has approximately 2.10 million Instagram followers as of late September 2026. Her audience is unusually valuable because it comes from two real careers: basketball fans follow the athlete, hip-hop listeners follow the artist, and a huge middle group follows the personality who moves naturally between both worlds.
HOW DID Flau’jae Johnson become famous?
Flau’jae first gained national attention as a young rapper through The Rap Game and America’s Got Talent, then became a basketball star at LSU. She helped the Tigers win the 2023 NCAA championship, developed into an All-American-level guard, surpassed 2,000 college points, and entered the WNBA as a first-round pick in 2026.
BEFORE THE FAME
Born in Savannah, Flau’jae is the daughter of rapper Camoflauge, who was killed months before she was born. She grew up determined to honor his music legacy while also becoming an elite athlete, eventually starring at Sprayberry High School and earning McDonald’s All-American honors.
CLOSE WITH (ASSOCIATED)
At LSU, Flau’jae won a national championship alongside Angel Reese and played for Kim Mulkey, experiences that placed her inside one of the most visible eras in college basketball. Musically, her Roc Nation connection and collaborations have allowed her to operate in rooms most athletes only visit for promotional appearances—Flau’jae actually belongs to both industries.
Personal LIFE and Relationship
Flau’jae’s personal story is deeply connected to her late father, Jason Johnson, known as the Savannah rapper Camoflauge. Her mother Lakia Brooks raised and managed her while helping preserve that legacy. Flau’jae tends to keep romance secondary to basketball, music, family, and business, and her ability to pursue both careers seriously is the most distinctive thing about her life away from the box score.
