HOW DID Azzi Fudd become famous?

Her mother Katie Smrcka-Duffy played at NC State and Georgetown and was drafted into the WNBA, while her father Tim Fudd also played college basketball. Azzi became an elite shooter young and starred at St. John’s College High School.

She has also had a long connection with Stephen Curry, whose shooting camp she attended as a young star and whose mentorship made perfect sense for a player known for one of the purest jump shots in women’s basketball.

Personal LIFE and Relationship

Azzi and Paige Bueckers publicly confirmed their relationship in 2025, turning years of fan curiosity about their close friendship into an openly acknowledged partnership.
