BEFORE THE FAME

Born in Dublin, Eve is the daughter of U2 frontman Bono and activist Ali Hewson. Despite growing up around music and fame, she chose acting and studied at New York University. Her unusual full birth name reflects the time of her birth—around 7 a.m. on July 7.

CLOSE WITH (ASSOCIATED);

Personal LIFE and Relationship

Eve is one of four children of Bono and Ali Hewson and has often joked about both the advantages and awkwardness of growing up with a world-famous father. She has deliberately pursued acting rather than music and keeps current relationship details relatively private, preferring interviews that emphasize work, family humor, and independence.
