HOW DID Natalia Dyer become famous?

Natalia’s first screen work included Hannah Montana: The Movie and other projects, but Stranger Things transformed her career in 2016. Nancy Wheeler grew from an ambitious teenager into one of the show’s central fighters, while films such as Yes, God, Yes gave Natalia room to build a more independent screen identity.

BEFORE THE FAME

Raised in Nashville, Natalia began performing through community theater as a child. She later attended New York University’s Gallatin School, balancing education with an acting career that suddenly became global after Stranger Things premiered.

CLOSE WITH (ASSOCIATED)

Stranger Things has tied Natalia professionally to Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Millie Bobby Brown, and the rest of an ensemble that effectively grew up together through a decade of production. Her on-screen relationship with Heaton’s Jonathan Byers became especially notable because the two actors also developed a real relationship away from the cameras.

Personal LIFE and Relationship

Natalia has been in a relationship with her Stranger Things co-star Charlie Heaton since 2016. Despite the attention around them, they have generally avoided turning the relationship into constant publicity, appearing together selectively while maintaining separate careers. Natalia’s Nashville upbringing, NYU education, and preference for smaller independent films also give her a creative identity beyond the Netflix series that made the couple famous.
