HOW BIG IS Bri Bagwell ON THE NET?

Bri’s official biography credits her with 15 No. 1 singles on Texas Country Radio, nine Female Vocalist of the Year wins, and more than 100 live shows in a typical year. Her Only Vans podcast and active social channels extend that audience beyond radio while preserving her independent road-warrior identity.

HOW DID Bri Bagwell become famous?

Bri released Banned from Santa Fe in 2011 and quickly became a visible woman on the Texas music charts. Over the following years she built a long run of regional radio hits and awards. The 2022 album Corazón y Cabeza and later singles including The Rescue, Border Girl, and Hit The Highway extended that career.

BEFORE THE FAME

Born and raised in Las Cruces, Bri wrote poems, learned piano, and joined her older twin brothers’ band at 14. She moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas, studied marketing, picked up guitar because it was easier to carry than a piano, and briefly worked in marketing after graduation.

CLOSE WITH (ASSOCIATED);

Bri has shared stages with major artists including Willie Nelson, Miranda Lambert, Dwight Yoakam, and Kacey Musgraves. Her podcast also brings her into conversation with fellow road musicians and entertainers, widening her collaborative world beyond conventional studio features.

Personal LIFE and Relationship

Bri’s New Mexico borderland roots are especially visible in Border Girl, which celebrates the cultural meeting point of New Mexico, Texas, and Mexico. Her older twin brothers are musicians, and her rescue dog Whiskey became beloved enough to inspire The Rescue and a fan-supported animal-shelter campaign. She now calls New Braunfels, Texas, home and keeps much of her romantic life outside the spotlight.
